General
A sealed-bid marketplace for new-car deals. A broker posts what their client is looking for, approved dealers submit sealed bids, and the broker picks the best one. Dealers can't see each other's bids while the listing is open.
Two account types: brokers, who represent a buyer and post listings, and dealers, who bid on those listings. Every application is manually reviewed before an account is approved - there's no automatic signup.
Not right now. We're in early access with $0 platform fees. That's a promotional rate, not a permanent guarantee - if pricing ever changes, you'll be notified before it applies to you.
There's no fixed timeline since every application gets a real, manual review rather than an automated check. If your application has been sitting for a while, use the contact form to check in.
For Brokers
From your dashboard, start a new listing and describe the vehicle - brand, model, year, trim if it matters, budget range, and any must-haves or must-not-haves. You can save it as a draft and come back to it before publishing.
Any approved dealer can browse and view any open listing on the platform, not just ones matching their brand or location - notifications are narrowed by brand and radius, but browsing isn't. A dealer outside your usual radius can also ask to bid on a specific listing - you'll see that request and can decide whether to allow it. A direct link to a listing, or its shareable preview page, can also be opened by anyone without an account. Your client's name and phone number are never shown - dealers and anyone with a link only ever see a listing number, along with the vehicle details, general location, and any trade-in info you included.
That's the sealed part of sealed-bid. Every bid is anonymized until you actually accept one - dealers are shown as "Offer 1," "Offer 2," and so on, so you're comparing terms, not reputations, while deciding.
Yes - set the deal type when you create the listing. Dealers bidding on a lease listing see lease-specific fields (term, monthly payment, due at signing, etc.) instead of the standard purchase fields.
The winning dealer gets your contact information and reaches out to finalize the deal off-platform. Once it's done, you report the outcome back - honored as agreed, terms changed, or it didn't happen - which keeps everyone's track record accurate.
Yes. Pausing hides it from dealers and stops new bids without losing the ones you've already received - useful if your client goes quiet for a bit. Resume it any time to pick back up where you left off.
You can file a dispute directly from the listing. It routes to a real person for review rather than an automated process, since these situations usually need actual judgment.
For Dealers
By the brands you carry and your distance from the client, based on the radius each broker sets. You'll be notified about listings you're eligible to bid on, and you can also ask to bid on a specific listing outside your usual radius if you're interested - the broker decides whether to allow it.
Yes, as long as it's still pending (the broker hasn't accepted or the listing hasn't closed). Every edit is tracked, so there's a real record of what changed and when.
Every bid on SecurdFor.Me is Binding - both the broker and dealer are expected to honor the exact terms in good faith once a bid is accepted. This isn't a legally binding contract (see our Terms of Service) - it's a platform expectation, and the only real consequence for either side not honoring it is removal from the platform.
Yes - if you lose, you'll see how much the winning bid beat you by (based on full out-the-door cost, not just sale price), without ever learning who the winning dealer was.
Yes, on the browse listings page. Set your filters the way you want them, save the combination with a name, and reapply it any time with one click.
